Follow Friday

Follow Friday Question: Do you have an under-noticed author that you think we should all know about?

This has been improving lately, with the release of The Ghosts of Ashbury High, but Australian author Jaclyn Moriarty is amazingly fabulous and needs to be recognized as a comedy genius. I fell in love with her after randomly picking up her first, Feeling Sorry for Celia. It was so hilarious that I pretty much read it aloud to my husband, poor guy. He puts up with a lot. There have been 3 more in the loosely related "series" set at Ashbury High, and they are all wonderful. You should totally read them! :)

  1. I think the most underrated author I can think of is Savita Kalhan. Her book, The Long Weekend, is genius, and I wish more people had read it! :)

  4. Science fiction and horror are the two genres that have stuck with me since I was a kid. That brings me back to Esther Friesner, an excellent science fiction author that I think too few people know about.

More about my impressions of her writing are on my blog. Follow me!
